Full Weekend of Racing at the Ridge -Friday Night Gamblers & the 660 ET Race Series
A full weekend of racing got kicked off at The Ridge with a little gamblers racing held Friday night June 27, 2014 during Skyview Drags regular Test & Tune. 13 cars lined up to get in on the “run what you brung” action. In the end it was an all Super Pro final with Kathy Kiekel of Binghamton NY taking home the win over Casey Jo Scaccia of Franklin NY. Kiekel dialed 5.95, went .503 on the tree running a 5.957 ET. Scaccia dialed 4.94, went .491 red on the tree running a 4.951 ET. Lynn Major of Tioga Center NY and Shane Garinger of New Albany Pa were the Gambler's Race semi finalists.
High Car Count Continues at the Ridge!
The crew at Skyview Drags put on yet another spectacular day of racing for the 660 ET Racing Series on Saturday June 21, 2014. Super Pro had an impressive showing with a 39 car field. But in the end, only one champion was named, Matt Forbes Esperance NY, of the Forbes Racing Team took home his first season win over Gene Stankovitz Chittenango NY. Forbes left first dialed 5.18, .521 on the tree running closer to his dial, going 5.197 ET. Stankovitz with a .526 tree, ran 5.077 ET on his 5.05 dial. Semi Finals lined Forbes against last weeks Super winner, Don Kiekel of Binghamton NY. Forbes, .521 on the tree, took the win running 5.154 ET on his 5.15 dial. Kiekel, .538 on tree ran a 4.892 ET on his 4.86 dial. Stankovitz moved on to the final with a bye run.

Gambler's Racing Joins Friday Night Test & Tune Events!
Beginning Friday, 06/27/14 and every Friday Night thereafter, we have added a GAMBLER'S RACE to our Friday Night Test & Tune events.
Gates open at 5 PM. Test & Tune running from 6-10 PM. Gambler's Race begins at 7:15 PM. We'll call you to the lanes for ONE Time Trial (determines Bye Run for Round 1) and then every 15-20 minutes or so, you will be called to the lanes for the Gambler's Race. Once the Gambler's Race round is completed, normal T&T resumes.
Gate Fee: $5 (as usual)
Test & Tune Fee: $15 (for everyone, as usual)
Gambler's Race Fee: $20 and NO Buy Backs (one & done!) for this Bracket Dial In Race.
Payout Structure: 20% for the track; 80% for the racers and we will pay WINNER, RUNNER-UP & SEMI-FINALIST(S) so 3-4 people share in the pot. Remember, the more who race, the BIGGER the pot.
Street Outlaw “Big Daddy” Rumbles at the Ridge! Girls Gone Racing Makes a Come Back!
Drivers, crew and spectators stayed bundled up for a chilly day of racing at the Ridge on Saturday June 14, 2014. But that didn’t stop the smoke from rolling, win lights from coming on and the victor’s from going to Victory Lane in Skyview Drags 660 ET Racing Series.
Skyview Drags proudly hosted the 632 cubic inch big block Chevy powered GMC Sonoma of Street Outlaw driver David “Big Daddy” Comstock. Cameras were flashing and videos rolled as Big Daddy made 2 shake down passes at the Ridge.
Precision Crankworks of Kirkwood NY added some fun to the days racing schedule by presenting a little Girls Gone Racing. The race was held in loving memory of Theresa Kawryga who passed away in February. The Victory went to Sandy Hacker of Bainbridge NY in her Ford powered Rollin' Thunder Mustang. Hacker presented the trophy to Theresa's son in her honor. Haley Teed of Friendsville Pa was the Girls Gone Racing runner-up. Hacker dialed 6.63 went .593 on the tree running a 6.660 ET. Teed went 9.912 ET on her 9.88 dial, .611 reaction time. Joann Lamoree was the Girls Gone Racing Semi Finalists.
